I have only heard that this works, have never had to try it:

1) brush off all the mould with stiff brush - an old toothbrush should do the trick

2) wash at once with laundry soap and water then dry in the sun (not the dryer)

3) if stains still remain, soak whites in bleach and use a lemon juice/salt solution for coloured fabrics. wash again

exit mould gets rid of it but will totally whiten your clothes

I don't think you can really get rid of mould I have tried with all sort's my bib's are gross. Is there any way you can bleach them??
Maybe look for a better oxyaction type soaker that wont kill the colours.

In my book called: How To Clean Absolutely Everything.
The instructions are:
Stains can sometimes be bleached out with an ink eradicator. COlours will be bleached out too, of course.
*For fabrics flush with diluted bleach from the wrong side. Rinse, launder as usual.

Well this is really gross but on the way up to Parihaka, Ella was a little bit sick on herself so I put those clothes in a plastic bag.. we were camping for a few days so couldn't really wash them anywhere, well I forgot about them too. So they were buried at the bottom of our car, and I didn't find them until a few days after we got back.

The grew mould on it and now there are big stains on her clothes! I soaked them in washing liquid first, what a dork! it seemed to make them worse.. they are in napisan now, have been there for a day.

Is there actually a solution for getting mould out of clothes or will I just have to give up?
