My hospital midwifes gave me 2 large packets of them in Nelson so I didnt need to use my own for a while. Plus I was in hospital for 4 days.]]>

When my waters brole, and went on for EVER, i used some Tena incontinence surfboards I had een give, and they rocked.  Still have a HUGE stash, well worth buying them if ytou can get over the "embarrasment" they were also really fantastic for post birth heavy bleeding, int he first few days, the hospital actaully gave me some, along with their surfboards as I bled heavily]]>

They are like the hospital ones but have the adhesive. Anyway my mum used to bleed and bleed forever (sorry if TMI) so I bought heeeeaps the first time and I still have some left over for #3 <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0"> But I do like the extra bulk in the first few days. I'm actually not a huge bleeder so after the first week I just change to Libra supers and that makes me feel a bit more human cause they are soooo thin.]]>

But softer and more absorbent for immediately after).<br /><br />When I got home, I used Goodnights as they were more shapely, still absorbent but not ultra ultra thick and uncomfy.]]>

After a while though I too switch to normal pads, as the bleeding wasn't so bad.]]>
