Not sure many MW will be overly objective about it ...
First birth was 3rd degree tears and recovery wasn't good, she ended up in cesarean for her second baby. When I asked her what she preferred she said hands down a c section... She said the recovery wasn't nearly as bad as third degree tears.
If you're a small slim person the recovery is no major.. It's the bugger women who usually struggle. My own c section was actually really easy..

Thoughts, experiences etc.

The episiotomy was not bad last time, but the stitching up was, and the healing after. I'm concerned about whether I should be considering an c-section.

My issue is that there are no Private Obstetricians where I live so its difficult to get information on this. I have a midwife from previous pregnancies (didn't deliver my first baby as had to hand over my care to the hospital midwives) but I am concerned that I wont get the right information out of them as they are very "pro vaginal" which is fine, but I just want to know a bit more.

Any ideas?
