Hey thanks Fairy for your recommendation and help!

I should rephrase uncomfortable to petrified and to the point of having a full on panic attack - which is what happened last time at just the thought of having to be checked out by a male doctor in December last year.

I've only been seen by a male doctor in my lady parts once, many years ago. He did nothing wrong and I'm sure he was a lovely person - but I had nightmares for so long afterwards I don't think I could go through that again.

I'm not judging the person by any means, it's me with the issue!

I haven't heard of a Judy at Hutt Hospital but I have Howard Clentworth as a gynaecologist and he is fantastic. I met 2 obs with my pregnancy (at Wgtn hosp) and the male one was much better than the female. My gynaecologist is also a male and he is fantastic. I think you should meet him then judge, as Howard is honestly fantastic.

I've been referred to see an obstetrician at Hutt Hospital, I got a letter 2 days ago saying they had booked me with Howard Clentworth.

I rang today to change, because I'm uncomfortable with male doctors and they booked me with someone called Judy (didn't get last name).

Now I've found out Judy isn't an OB! I can't be bothered ringing back again... I have had so many bad experiences with Hutt Maternity it isn't worth the headache.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had Judy look after them - what sort of doctor is she? What's her full name (so I can google!), any other interesting bits of information or stories you have to share?
