I was put on citalopram but had a bad reaction, so was put on fluoxetine. Both are fine BF and being pregnant too. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and at first was worried but both my DR and MW were very relaxed and encouraged me to stay on them.

20-40mg are so low and very low risk, so put your mind at rest. I always think that if I'm not on it and am really low and anxious that is more harmful and makes me struggle to mother my son. We need to do what we can for our babes!

Im taking for 40 mg of citalopram a day for generalised anxiety disorder and health anxiety. Im so reluctant to stop as I was in a real state before I started my meds... and from what I read the risk is very low... but just wondering if anyone else is/has been on it when pregnant and what the doctore advised?

Thanks in advance :)
