It helped me a little with during my pregnancy

    Author: Keleho
Subject: 43725
Posted: 23 November 2013 at 10:52am

I had a small varicose vein appear on my right leg during my second pregnancy. Caused no issues, mostly disappeared afterwards (just a slightly more obvious group of veins).
I'm now 28 weeks with my third, and after having the existing one and a new one pop up on my leg (though not causing any issues yet), I'm now getting them on my labia - two have appeared in the last few days.
My midwife said that I may get them when I saw her earlier this week (especially as I'm getting a lot of pressure down there already), and recommended elevating my feet as much as possible (not often possible with a 3.5 and 2 year old at home!), and that if they get really bad, we would look at compression socks.

Wondering if anyone that had these had issues during their pregnancy/labour, and what was done about them?

Thanks
