My midwife with Kiya told me that its because your digestive system slows down while you're pregnant to give your body the chance to absorb the maximum benefit from your food... which means that its sitting in your digestive tract longer, so (sorry ) rots a little, resulting in excess methane gas. Yep Neil has complained about living in the windy city for the past 30 weeks too, both ends!!!!! I am putting it down to pregnancy. No remedies though
