Hi there, I can recommend Sean at Wellwest on Lincoln Rd. I searched on google as I was having excrutiating headaches and panadol did nothing...I could do nothing but lie in dark quiet room with wet cloth over my face and cry! Wasn't a migraine but close to it!

He was honestly amazing....I went for nausea and headaches. He spent ages working with me and doing gentle massage as well as accupuncture. He was really knowledgable about all the 'no go' pregnancy areas and used shorter needles as to not over stimulate certain points.

He gave me lots of pointers for pressure points for headaches and I will def be seeing him close to my due date to work on back and stomach areas to help with the birth.

It was $80 for the session but he was really thorough and never rushed.

Quite a few, I can't really remember now. I put it off til later, I wish I'd started earlier getting it done. She gave me chinese herbs which helped HUGELY. Actually I could send them to you if you want? Thanks Kel, how many sessions did you go for? 

I have gotten a name from my midwife who I have contacted so will definitely give this a go. 
She has also recommended I go and see a chiropractor who does applied kiesiology and neurolink. It is believed that it is a liver imbalance which causes the morning sickness. I was diagnosed with gallstones during my last pregnancy and the gall bladder drains off the bottom the liver. So I guess this is something else I can look into.

Can anybody recommend a place in Auckland (ideally out West) that offers acupuncture to relive nausea in early pregnancy? 
I know it works really well for some people and I am keen to try it.
