I'd say the midwives would take Napier clients too, just all the travelling you'd do. That being said, it's only a 15 min drive between there and Taradale anyway. Depends where you plan on birthing too, since there's Hastings hospital and Napier City medical that both have maternity services.

Does 'The Midwives' only take women who live in Hastings? We haven't decide where abouts we are going to live, we are leaning more towards Taradale, but Hastings looks more cheaper to buy into!

Hi Sunshine, are you looking at Hastings or Napier?

In Hastings, The Midwives practice in Williams St is really good, I have Rizwaana Latiff and she's amazing, my sister in law had her too, for both kids. Riz is very no-nonsense with the doctors and they respect her.

In Napier, Annie Price (Meeanee Midwives) is really good, though some people say a little old fashioned. A friend of mine had her and was very impressed.
