babyb18 - I am sorry to know yr story. If yr karyotyping results are OK, you can stay positive. Aw Talz I am so sorry xxx I lost my first daughter at 37 weeks nearly 4 years ago now and it is completely heart breaking I am just so sorry you have to go through this too!

Hi my friends from this support page, I'm back again. Well after I said we were done with our 2 boys, we were surprised with a 3rd on the way. Due date 18/2/17. All was going well, 12 weeks scan came and went and we breathed a sigh of relief as it was going good. Last week I went for my MW appointment at 19+3 and couldn't get heartbeat. Went for my anatomy scan as was a bit concerned about that straight after. Unfortunately we lost this little one too so had to go to hospital on Thursday for induction. I gave birth to my little boy at 19+5 and it is so emotional. I would have been 20 weeks today. Life is crap sometimes! So I have returned to these pages once again.

Hey,
19 weeks now, everything is going well. Had our scan and all was good. It's a boy which I am disappointed about but healthy is the main thing. Still not sure how I'm feeling about it all to be honest, hopefully by the time he arrives I'll be ok. Hubby doesn't know the gender which has made it a little hard. I hoped it would help me bond a bit more with baby but I think it's just made life harder by having to keep it secret?

Congratulations Talz and Kazzanz05. So nice to hear happy endings to your journeys. I ticked over 24 weeks this week and our wee man is kicking up a storm more and more every day, and it's the most reassuring feeling in the world. Had to have a follow-up scan today as a very small abnormality was discovered at the 20 week anatomy scan (a small cyst on his brain) but there were no other issues identified and the follow-up scan saw that the cyst is getting smaller and is likely to have resolved completely by the time he is due in September. Midwife reassured us that it was nothing to worry about, especially in the absence of any other abnormalities, but it's still pretty scary to hear that he's anything other than 100% perfect. Just a reminder of what a scary journey this can be and how I envy those who seem to sail through it all without a care in the world. Hi everyone.

We welcomed Chelsea Jane 6lb 11 oz into the world at 2009hrs on 8/5/15.

Started off at 6am with waters slowly trickling. Trip to hospital at 11 am. Midwife about to check whether it was my waters when mire came away. Vaginal exam 2-3cm. Had to stay in hospital duse to prev quick labour. Body didn't progress as much as it should . Epidural and Syntocinin started. Contractions more regular and from fully dilated 25mins of pushing she was out. Hi! I had my baby boy!
He was born on 5/5/15 @ 12:09am. I had a s&s done on Monday morning by MW and I was already having mild cramping (1 day over due from scan date). And more mild regular contractions through day. By 4-5pm started to get bit more intense. And things progressed pretty quickly from there. MW came out home at 8pm and by 10 decided better get to hospital. So got to hospital around 11pm and baby arrived just after midnight. So so thrilled with our lil rainbow bubba. A healthy 8lb3oz. Proof that life can still be good after a mc. Hope you don't go to far over Kazzanz!

I struggled with feeling anxious throughout the whole pregnancy unfortunately tryingfor#4. Thanks Seaview, i went to the Dr (had to get anti-vom pills for next week, just in case, as i'm in Aus) and she gave me 2x forms so i did the first lot on Tuesday, the day AF was due and i got 99, so relieved! Next lot today. I've done a 'few' haha, tests this week and they are progressing nicely, darkest i've ever gotten too!

Congrats Sara, awesome news. I think if you can handle it maybe avoid the HCG, but it's totally your personality. I just remember standing at the desk in the lab sobbing because I couldn't get my results, so much stress. Hey ladies, i'm back!   

So exciting to see all the babies born and TALZ and NZVEG, nearly your squishy baby time!!

I'm trying to decide if i should get HCG done this time (again). Georges was 70 and then just doubled, my MC was 34! Hi everyone. I used to be a regular in the TTC after miscarriage thread last year, and happy to say I've 'graduated' to be able to post in this thread now - 16 weeks pregnant this week and all is going well so far. So nice to see some of you that used to post in the TTC after miscarriage thread here, and that some of you have even had your babies already! Congrats Seaview!! Sorry, I've only just seem some of these messages now! Yes, our beauty's wee boy was born at 4.48am on Jan 29th weighing 7lb 1oz. I was a couple of days past my due date but went into labour using natural methods and didnt have to be induced which I was pleased about. Oh boo Mac! Waiting when overdue is torturous! Often the threat of induction is enough to get them going?! I hope it doesn't get to that point and they decide to make a move! I guess you've tried all the old wives tales? I remember night before I went into labour last time I had a nice hot bath, a relaxing neck/shoulder massage by DH and a bit of fun times ..... Must have worked though! Well I hope all goes well and bubs is in your arms so very soon!

I'm going ok thanks. A bit of congestion in the chest from allergies so went to dr today to get that sorted. And the silly back pains etc get with pregnancy is a joy.... But other than that I'm loving my growing belly and the reassuring boots I'm getting from the lil guy! Have started sorting through DS old clothes to put in drawers plus a few new ones too. Hey, not sure if I checked in here. I had my little girl 4 weeks early in the middle of Nov. I managed to have an anti natal hemorrhage and both a primary and secondary hemorrhage after as well as issues with bubs but things are finally going well and she's beautiful.

I'm now 23 weeks! Feeling my little man booting and squirming quite frequently now which is reassuring. Not coping very well in the heat - thank goodness for aircon! Hi all, sorry I've been so absent! All is well with us :-D I was 15 weeks yesterday!! We went to see our midwife for a monthly check up and as she was about to put the Doppler on she said to DW - ohh did you see that kick? And she did! DW saw about 5 kicks while the midwife was checking heart beat and then another couple last night. I lay with a mirror (as it's on the underside of my increasingly convex puku), but couldn't see anything and aren't feeling any flutters yet. But soooo exciting to know that DW can watch and check for kicks if I'm feeling nervous!
Our 12 week scan results came back all fine - perfectly normal.
Also - does anyone need any progesterone pessaries? I have a full packet of Utrogestan left which is 30 pills.

Merry Christmas ladies! So sorry Sara to hear of your mc, hope you're back in here quick smart. NZVeg amazing you got to your 12wk scan!!! So exciting! I had spotting in first tri too, after BD'ing but sometimes randomly as well - so stressful but like others had said not necessarily a sign of anything wrong.
Can't say we've BD'd for a while now...to weird when bub moves etc lol.
I'm 35wks now and finishing up work on Tues...can't believe it!

Haha thanks. I'm not uncomfortable yet. And my sex drive was absent for the past few months. Feel like I'm making up for it now! But worried about bleeding again. Might just do it and see what happens. NZVeggie ...did you just stop the messaries? Did you wean off or did they have you stop cold turkey? They can cause spotting. It's worth mentioning to the Dr/Midwife just so they know.. I had brown spotting at 6 weeks and then the last one at 12 weeks (at the time of NT scan) ...for me they could see an implantation hematoma at 12 weeks, which has now gone... 6 weeks they wondered if it was the pessaries because I only had them up to 5 and a bit weeks, but they weaned me off them by reducing the amount and frequency... and then the first lot of spotting started
I was always thankful it was just brown spotting and I just kept using my doppler and now I have a tap dancing bump :-) I was continually told by every specialist etc. that there was nothing to worry about at all. Brown was fine.

Omg woke up with spotting!!! It's brown. But here was a bit of staining in my undies so must have started overnight!!!!! So sorry Sara. My miscarriage was at 8 wks growth. Some abdominal cramps and passed a huge rush of blood then next cramp was passing the sac I think. Then had a normal 5 day period. Takes it out of you though.

I've only m/c naturally once and the sac was around 5-6 weeks in size, so similar to where you are. Its was like period pain but worse for me than normal (normally I don't get much pain so hopefully for you it won't be as bad as normal). I had a couple of hours of really bad pain and then passed a massive clot (this happened twice). Other than that it wasn't too bad. I had a wedding where I was bridesmaid at (typical timing) and managed to function just fine. The bleeding lasted around 6-7 days for me with another 5 or so of spotting lightly.

With some paracetamol and ibuprofen you should be good. I had a glass of milk (well actually, a milkshake) last night. Normally can't stand drinking milky things but it did help and meant I could get to sleep!!!

I'm sorry the spotting is still there. Aww that is so nice you are getting to do some of that fun stuff now NZVeg. I am goin well, I have really enjoyed the last ten weeks or so of pregnancy especially feeling movement. Up until the anatomy scan I was is anxious and so sick I didn't really enjoy it so I am feeling very positive now. Hey ladies, do you mind if i join you in here? Super excited to get a BFP last week but then mistakenly asked for HCG at the Dr and it came back at 32 = STRESS. I know one on its own doesn't mean much, but heck its low :-( was supposed to get another one done today but after talking to my partner (who thinks i'm crazy for stressing myself out) i've decided to flag it! Though i did buy some more HPT, did one on Sat and will do another tomorrow to compare.   I remember my numbers in Feb were low / only just doubled in 3 days, so i should have learnt!
