Oh I have a HUUUUUGE urge to nest but am making myself wait until I finish work next Wednesday YAYAYAYAY. I can imagine that by next Friday I will have all babies things washed and folded and my hospital bag packed I have been itching to start washing things but then I will probably want to wash them again closer to when baby is due.

OH NESTING...I remember it well!!!

I was sooooooo bad...I think the ladies on here know that too...not only did I clean I washed every thing with detol!!

I permanently had a cloth in my hand and was wiping, cleaning, wiping....cleaning.......

We also moved houses in Sep 05 ...and I cleaned my new house from Top to bottom, on my hands and knees.....I was really really bad. Mind you I make up for it now...I dont do any thing....LOL ....Hubby does!!

I've done stuff at work as well. I didnt 'nest' at home but did at work so was to tired by the time i got home. I rearrange mine and 2 other offices, totally scrubbed my phone, computer, desk etc and if anyone put files in the wrong place boy did they hear about it. yes mummy_becks I am totally agreeing with the craziness of nesting!!!!! I am at the stage that I am getting tired as still working full time as a nurse as well as having the urges of literally scrubbing the house before and after work. My 10yr old is helping me (what a good girl) but my 5yr old just likes to sit around and watch. haaaaahahaha. I have an exam next friday - I may have checked the board at 10.30am, 11.15am, 12pm, and 2.30pm.
If I was home I can guarantee that all the washing would be done and the kitchen cleaned from top to bottom.

Having said life is too short for house work, yes the only time I absolutely must hoover from top to bottom and dust and mop and stuff is when I have an essay due or a presentation to finish, so it could be an "anything is better than diabetic nephropathy essay" thing I have too

When I was pregnant with Andrew I got the cleaning later on. I finished work at 36 1/2 weeks and was cleaning and cooking a storm.

Maybe this is a second pregnancy thing. And I just got my summer school paper info from the courier man . I was scrubbing the floor and he walked up the steps. Had a little laugh at me then I stood up and he saw the bump. All he said was "nesting?", then "your doing a summer school paper as well". I told him I wasn't due to Feb and the exam is the day after I am due. He laughed at me.

Yep yummymummy, we are the same, Neil is waiting for this nesting business to kick in, but I don't think I'm wired up that way at all. I am kind of hoping that nothing changes in that direction as I hate housework and cleaning and have campaigned for the last 7 years for a cleaner once a week and it's not happened so far, so I guess it's not going to happen when I give up work is it? Life just feels like it is too short to be cleaning!!!!

I'm sure dh wishes I have the nesting thing - not a whiff. I would not go looking for housework - if it's really really bad I'll do it but not otherwise. I've even gone off cooking a little and normally I LOVE cooking. So not me - if anything I'm lazier than normal. Anyone else?

I know its not a bad thing to nest but it is starting to drive me nuts. All I want to do is clean, but I need to be studying - I have exams in less than 2 weeks now. I have so far today vacuumed all the floors, made all the beds, cleaned every single cd cover (well over 100) and then cleaned the stereo and tv as well as the cabinet. I have now sprayed the floor in the kitchen to soak up any yucky mess then scrub the edges and the mops. I want to clean my bathroom - I did it yesterday go figure. And then i'll look at the pantry and clean that out too. i'm sure the fridge will get a clean out at some stage as well. I'm not sure if its the cleaning product I want to use as I love the smell of it - mr muscle glass and surface cleaner.

I am also stocking up on all sorts of crazy things in the pantry and fridge/freezer.

Anyone else having/had 2nd trimester craziness?
