We've just done our repeat for this year & we just had to re trial dairy, soy & ricemilk to show that he still needed the neocate. He does happily drink Oatmilk but cause the protein isn't at the right level we got neocate for another year, your GP just does the request for the extension, but they do need to have the form filled out properly as we unfortunately found out & were down to the wire on the last tin when the repeat came through!

Or should I be thinking about buying something like a soy formula? Or is regular soy milk ok?

I know the formula would probably have more nutrients in it?

Ideally Id like to keep him on neocate as he is a fussy eater but I don't know if he would get it prescribed again, as his reflux is under control and his dairy intolerance more has tummy symptoms than anything else. And a $120 + paeds visit just to be told no is not really in the budget :S
