I had excellent help from Plunket in the family rooms and also help with careats etc :) I know not everyone gets slong with their nurses, but I've found mind helpful and kind and easy to talk to.

SPACE (run through playcentre) was hugely helpful to me.
Mostly on tips with sleeping and songs and things to "play" with a baby.

La Leche League - provided me with the opportunity to meet a group of wonderful like-minded mothers who have become great friends. I have felt supported and encouraged in my role as a mother and the choices I have made in regards to breastfeeding and parenting. Mothers Helpers link is holding a "Networking Meeting" in early December with a variety of agencies involved in helping mums in the community. We are hosting and will be taking the opportunity to celebrate the work of these agencies. To do that, I wanted to hear from some mums who have been helped by them.
