$60 with no duties or $30 with 4 helps a year here. I joined but put membership on hold as there was next to nothing for under 1 but the stuff they did have i'd buy myself (stacking rings and the like) or were really grotty and missing bits (xylophones with missing keys etc). I will go back when DS is a bit older as they had HEAPS of big ride on toys, and play kitchens and things like that. We used the Papamoa Toy Library for my nieces when they were visiting and will go back for our one once they're old enough. We have one for Airforce families in Auckland its great and DD loves the toys. Great...I've bought next to no toys in the last 2 1/2 years but have had loads of different toys through the house. Paeroa Toy Library is great. we go to the Milford Plunket toylibrary (which is actually in sunnynook??) and love it. Have been members for around 3 years now and I still see toys which we haven't seen before.  Ours costs $90 for a year (if you help out 1 morning a term).

We used to go to the one on Portage Rd in Green Bay, it was great and really cheap.

My local playgroup, they lend out toys which are written down in a book and you bring them back after a couple of weeks. No fees and the toys are in reasonable condition.
