It has no agitator and is aquasmart and therefore very similar to a front loader.  The instructions say to use front loader detergent.  Absolutely love it!!]]>

Just stick it in the next load.<br /><br />The front loader we had in our rented place just never seemed to clean clothes properly]]>

You can change the cycle depending on what you're washing but I put everything on the same and that's 1hr 16min. Sure, slower than a top loader but it's more gentle on the clothes and economical on water.<br /><br />I always use cold wash (I use persil powder) and have had great results.]]>

The machine is awesome. The drum is bigger than an agitator top loader. I think it has all the benefits of being a top loader, and the gentleness of a front loader.<br />We looked at F&P but they seem so overpriced!]]>

My mum has just gone back to a top loader after having a front loader it doesnt rinse as well and ruined her towels I also had a front loader and you definately dont get the same amount of water rinsed out of clothes!]]>

You can add things at anytime as it has a slightly tilted drum.  There is a quick wash which takes just under a hour which works great.  The 'normal' wash takes about a hour and a half depending on the weight of whats in the machine. <br />We had a top loader before but after using this one I would never go back to top loading again.<br />Ours is straight on the floor and to be honest I didn't even know you could get a stand for them.]]>

You shut the door and turn it on and thats it for 2 hours, no sneaking in that last sock. And it takes TWO HOURS. And its a pain to bend down and load and unload (its on the floor). Best purchase ever! It's top loader but doesn't have an agitator (that piece in the middle of most top loaders) so is like a front loader apparently. It's fantastic! I can get the exact details on it if you want. It does a fantastic job with washing, has delayed start, various wash cycles from delicate, super wash, water saving etc... <br /><br />It is a 7kg but quite a bit smaller than the F&P 7kg machines which is perfect if you are renting. <br /><br />We looked at proper front loader machines but they were quite low on the ground and found the sales people kept saying you had to buy this stand for it which was $2-400 as well (to make it a bit higher off the ground).  <br /><br />Also has a safety feature that if the lid is open for 20 or more seconds it drains the tub. And a child lock. ]]>

It is a 6.5kg one, washes well and nice, easy and cheap.<br /><br />I looked at the front loaders, but wasn't quite convinced with price etc. Though, I have a few friends who have frontloaders and wouldn't go back to top loader.]]>
