Ural is fine and dandy during and post pregnancy. It neutralises the acid in your pee so that it doesn't hurt so much when it comes out. Baking Soda does the same thing - but baking soda in water doesn't taste so nice. It might not have been you Cat, I got stressed coz my midwife sounded a bit that way when I called her once and I felt like I was harassing her, but it turns out she was in the delivery suite delivering a baby!

If you think you have a UTI it is important to get antibiotics tho as the Ural will help the symptoms but not cure the bacteria (so speaks the expert - I have had so many that I have to take a prophylactic antibiotic every day to stop myself getting them). And UTI's/cystitis can cause premature labour if left untreated.

Yep got Uti thru out last pregnancy and took them. They wouldn't give them to you and would have a warning if you weren't s'pose to. I got given them in the maternity unit after giving birth and was breastfeeding and found them a godsend
