Getting regular sun exposure, no hot showers/baths (sigh), I think avoiding acidic foods like tomatoes and citrus (but you might want to check that one), umm, that's all I can think of. No creams (even the prescribed ones that stank) really did much for me. Emu oil from Silberhorn works wonders, you could take the emu oil capsules. They recommend something crazy like 6 a day but I would start with 2 and see how you go. 2 was enough to cure my excema and it didn't return (except for during pregnany).
