Fired???? I'd probably be inclined to say you were "let go" Fired is usually where you've done something wrong, although technically you can be fired still it's a long drawn out process.

fired from one manager.
she told me 'so i no longer have a job for you, someone will ring you today hopefully with whats happening now'.
and was 4hrs before my new manager got a hold of me and told me whats the go

but it is a good thing, my old job was just casual so they never had to give me actual work, could just ring me whenever but now i have rostered hours
