Oooooh public smokers are THE WORST, and i'm an ex smoker but i always felt like a dirty bum smoking on the street so i only smoked at home or work.

I hate..cigarette butts left along the gutter/sidewalk/grass along the side of the footpath.... It's just disgusting, if you're going to smoke the least you can do is find a bin to put your well extinguished butts into!

Other pet hate...another disusting one, people who leave poo squiggles on the seat of the loo or in the side of the loo or skid marks... honestly the toilet brush is right beside the loo and there is toilet paper to wipe down the seat with. People driving 60 or 70 in a 100 zone expressway. If you don't feel confident enough to at least get close to the speed limit then don't take the expressway go on the other roads.

It's like, if you do not understand the new rule which has been in affect for quite some time now, regarding indicating at roundabouts, just don't indicate if you are going straight and only indicate if you are going left or right, instead of confusing everyone who does understand how the rule works!

using txt language when they arnt using there phone, seriously how much thought goes into spelling a simple word totally wrong but with more letters or the same amount just to what? confuse the person trying to read it. the point of txt language was when you had bugger all credit on your phone and trying to send a message in one text page.

I hate people who chew gum, this is my biggest oet hate.

But also....
I hate it when people don't wipe down the bench when they're done (DH)
or when they put their shoes on the floor in front of the shoe rack (DH again)
or when people flick throught hte channel trying to find something on the tv, even though there's nothing clearly worth watching but continue to do so.
or those people who throw rubbish out of there car windows in frint of you and it hits your car.

Dh turning the dryer on and me coming in half an hour later to find that sure hes turned it on but he hasnt opened the laundry door so the whole room is literally dripping with condensation grrr

Deodora - I have been unemployed never got any money for that either. Having a partner/husband is a barrier to getting anything.

I don't have a problem with the genuine sick getting help.

What I am peeved at is the unemployed getting money when I get none. Yes its a choice I've made, so is getting a job.

The maternity benefits here in NZ are pretty crappy compared with the UK and Oz. i think the point was hating more that there is no money for SAHMs rather than there is money for the sick

Not wanting to come across like the winging Pom (which i guess i am!), but the level of maternity pay is very low here compared to the UK and there is no universal child benefit like in the UK. Totally agree with any of the smoking related ones - especially when people smoke with their kids in the car - it really gets at me. So irresponsible and selfish.

Oooooh and MrsEmma - those handcream people annoy the crap outa me! I always get my phone out and pretend to start texting. The other mall people who annoy me are the 'gold buyers' who hand out the brochures, and the girls with the hair curlers. I have naturally curly hair (looks like they've been done with curlers, but they haven't been) and they always say to me 'excuse me, can I say something about your hair?'. I hate men in my office who moan about lack of sleep because of their baby but INSIST on getting up to do the middle of the night feeds etc. If your partner stays at home, your job is to KEEP YOUR JOB!! GO TO SLEEP!!

I hate people who smoke and then get constantly sick and blame it on the weather or allergies or whatever.

I hate the government for allowing some sickness beneficiaries to continue doing the exact thing that has put them on the sickness benefit in the first place.

I hate people who stroll down Lambton Quay at lunchtime. There needs to be a lane just for them.

I hate DHs morning routine because I'm jealous. People smoking at traffic lights while waiting to cross with a bunch of people around(so I can't move away from them enough)

People who smoke right beside the doors at malls so regardless of how far I am from them I always inhale some smoke walking in

People who smoke at the hospital grounds! Panda289 - I just came back on here to mention people who get to the front of the queue and still don't know what they are ordering. Soooooo annoying!!

Slow people in the malls annoy the crap outa me too. Especially those who have taken the whole family and stretch right across and walk at snail pace so no one can get passed. I swear I am going to get bull bars installed on the front of Isla's pram so I can ram them lol
Also - groups of high school kids who run around yelling and being stupid in the malls. They have NO respect.

People on the footpath who walk slowly but I can't get past them grr, especially ones who overtake me and then slow down the moment they get past.

Impatient drivers (there are a lot here in Sydney and a lot of honking of horns going on!)

People in lines anywhere that take ages and when I finally get to the counter I am done quickly. Especially fast food places (who doesn't know what is on the Maccas menu?!

People who leave public toilets unflushed with their business in them, how hard is it to flush a freakin toilet.. (I check to make sure the toilet itself is not broken and it always flushes fine)

Totally agree on the other children M2K! And in cafes, I had a kid leaning way over us from the booth behind with food dripping out of his mouth onto us and screaming at random intervals right by my ear..

People who indicate to turn left at the last minute when you've been sitting at an intersection waiting for them to pass so you can go.

People (aka DF) who leave empty shampoo bottles etc in the shower.

Following on from that...... when 'people' leave dirty towel and clothes on floor of bathroom.

Not changing the toilet roll.

Not scraping food scraps into bin and instead just leaving them on the bench on the plate for me to clean up.

People who walk their dogs off the leash. Just cause I have a dog doesn't mean I feel comfortable with your dog bowling up to me.

Oh yes, I hate the not replacing toilet roll too. Either leaving nothing there, or an empty roll!

Oh and this one too "drivers who do not indicate, or who indicate right as they exit a roundabout"

Oh yup and these one's too "Bad drivers (especially people who cut into a lane when I've been waiting patiently in that lane for ages)

Empty toilet roll not replaced OR replaced, but leaving the empty roll in there. How hard is it to bring it out with you???

Overflowing rubbish bins

Mumbling

People who don't indicate, tailgate and flick their cigarette butts out so it flies back into our car.

Drunk people

Feeding the cats

Hair on the wall of the shower

Wee dribbles on the toilet seat

Smelly feet

People who are late. And worse, when they don't tell you

When the last person to watch tv leaves it really loud so I get a fright when I turn it on in the morning

Putting dishes on the bench above the dishwasher, but not actually in the dishwasher...how do you think they'll get in there??

Definitely the stubble one! And not emptying the rubbish bin too!

The temperature having to literally drop below zero before it's 'cold' enough to have the fire going.

Clothes and shoes left on the floor in the doorway of the bedroom so I trip over them in the middle of the night.

Letting the dog sit on the backseat in the car - that's what the big boot is for!

..think I could keep going forever!

SNORING! Just roll the hell over and stop!

The dog barking at nap time and waking DD up.

And leaving the sink in once you have done the dishes "just in case theres more" then letting it go cold and yuck. Just pull it out!

1. People (men) who shave using clippers and leave the stuble all over the sink

2. Not shutting gates..grhh! do you know how hard it is to seperate 7 horses when you are just one person and they are all frisky

3. People who cook then put water in the pan after to help with cleaning, but not actually cleaning it

4. My fricking dogs barking at every possum that is near the kennel

1. People who use the jug and pretty much leave it empty! If you can empty it, you can refill it I reckon.

2. Using the chopping board and then putting it straight back, dirty!

3. Not rinsing dishes.

4. Leaving the dirty nappy and/or wipes on the ground, wherever the nappy was last changed.

And finally.

5. Continuing to fill the full rubbish bin, instead of using some initiative and emptying it!
