Cooked chicken smells much the same on the way out as it does going in.

I have been cooking up large pasta pieces and serving that with the vege purees as a sauce, I dip the pasta into the puree and she sucks it off.

Today was a full BLW day no purees we both had a load of fun. The other baby there was watching Catherine in amazement he's 3 weeks younger and only just starting on solids.

Of course, harder things were more for the taste, he'd never actually eat much of them, so if you want to know for sure lots is going in I'd go for softer stuff. Noodles were a favourite (although he never seemed to get much down), vegemite toast, cooked carrot sticks, melon (he would eat heaps of that), cheese sticks, pieces of meat (he loves them and will suck them for ages, till they're grey and dry).

ETA that I still kept doing purees at the same time, so he wasn't getting all his food from finger food.

Edited by Hopes
