Wall, gib & skirting plus Labour approx $650 but allow up to a $1000. Someone correct me if im wrong but it will only be a cosmetic wall non load bearing etc so some framing and some gib sheets and a door shouldnt be too much i wouldnt have thought. I work in the plumbing industry and none of the tradesmen I know will give a price to do anything, without going to site first. Could you just call a builder and get a quote? Totally off the parenting topic, but is there a website or something where you can see ballpark building costs for projects?

I want to put an internal wall up separating my lounge from my dining room but I need to have a vague idea of what it will cost before I get a builder in (so I know if I should rather wait and save more money up).
