I'm glad they got him but it worries me about what is to come now. It's not going to stop terrorism and hatred toward the western world. If anything, it's just added more fuel to the fire. Al-Qaeda aren't guna stop just cause their 'ringleader' is gone. I'm sure they would have gone over scenarios like this already, and Osama would have probably already told them what to do if he were to be killed.

I'm glad I live in NZ right now, earthquakes and all. They compared the DNA to his sons, which they had on record. Have also done a facial recognition match.

I saw on the news one reason why they may have done the Muslim cleansing and burial was so there were no retalitory attacks from not giving him his last rites. Burial at sea so there would be no shrine.

Here's my take on this....

He's either dead, no question of, as there's no way on earth the US would claim they'd killed him if there was the slightest chance they could be wrong.

Orrrrrr they have him alive and have told everyone they've killed him so they can keep him and do what they like with him to try and 'extract information'

Exactly Bowie! I heard on the radio this morning that they never had his DNA on record so were just comparing it to that of family members that they did have. Then apparently someone was asked to view the body and confirm it was him by sight as well. I'm sure they took DNA but who exactly are they comparing it too? Do they have his DNA on file or did his parents cough up samples for comparison? I understand he has 57 brothers/sisters but i'm not sure comparing sibling DNA is conclusive..
