Yes my 3 sons. ADD and ADHD are really different too. I can defintely help on the ADD side of things but I dont have any experience with ADHD. They do take the same meds etc it just works differently on the different disorders if that makes sense? Yes PM as I am happy to answer or share anything.

Hey,

I am a NE teacher and I have a lovely little boy with ADHD in my class. He is really interesting as some days he is perfect - sits still, pays attention, tries hard with all his work - you just couldnt fault him and then other days he is off the wall and man is he hard work he cant sit still, takes no pride in work, calls out  and shows no control of his behaviou.

I am not sure if he has other issues going on as he has very little social skills for his age - wants friends but doesnt know how to make or keep them, can be very loving at times and then violent at times with hitting and lashing out etc. He can very stubborn and we have had some definant battles - he know nows he cant get away with too much with me after some hard work hehe! He is also seeming very low in his learning - still early days with this tho.

Let me know if you want to know more about him.

Good Luck with all the testing this can be the hardest part and then when you have a diagnosis you know what you are dealing with!

Does anyone have a child with ADHD/ADD or have any experience with it? My 3 year old is in the process of being assessed  I have done a search on here but couldn't find any relevant threads.  Please PM me if you dont want to post about it.  Thanks!!
