Olivia wont take any other teat than the tommee tippee pur. I use the Avent ones, But I have heard that the Dr Brown ones are supposedly great for colic/reflux and I'm pretty sure advertise the fact they are good for thickened formulas.

I think I'd definitely try a faster flow teat first with the bottles you've got- may be a lot cheaper. Maybe you just need to buy the avent teats that are "variflow".
