We buy the cheapest blue top milk in the 3L containers, we easily demolish one of those a day- & I don't let them have it all the time. lol, I know, she does have ordinary milk too, she has formula before bed. Thanks....I did wonder about the Diary owners stocking up and do see it with a lot of products but I didn't think they would be stocking up with Baby formula, especially Toddler.   I just can't help but think there is more to it.....but really must ask so I know!

Am aware that one year olds can have normal milk but with four kids we would go through the milk so fast I'd be having to go to the supermarket every couple of days. Yes it is because they're selling at or slightly less than cost price. Fil was a supermarket manager, he said they'd get people filling entire trolleys with one product, obviously to sell on, that was when they enforced the limit, not normally for personal shoppers. When I was only shopping once a month I'd be buying 8 bags of cat chow each grocery shop, which was fine til it went on special, then the checkout operator said it was a limit of 6, I tried arguing I always buy that much whether it's on special or not, even said I'd pay full price for the extra two, no luck. So I got the 6, took them to car, then went back in to different checkout with another 6, ha. Linda, I think it's because Dairy shop owners sometimes find it cheaper to go to Pak n Save than the wholesalers and it's to prevent them from buying out the stock.
At least that's always been my interpretation on it.

Slightly off but we use Nurture Gold Toddler and at Pak n Save they have it for $15.42 which is a great price but they only allow you to buy three at a time. Pathetic...it's food so why limit it. I would say especially for the toddler milk but I don't think it should be limited at all for any type. I did ask but the check out person didn't know.
