We went to Hilton Brown in Albany which was great.

thanks for the recommendations- will check those websites out. I think the Helen's one is one of the ones i was looking at- Hippymama what were prices like?

We also went to the Swim Centre, we took DS at 6 months old and they were great. The place isn't big but the class sizes are small and the teachers seem fantastic, ours definitely was.

The swim centre is really good too, I went there when I was little so its been around for a while, its smaller than some of the other places, I really like it there. I think their websites just www.swimcentre.co.nz.

We haven't heard about either of those, but checked out both the Glenfield Leisure Centre and Helen's School of Swimming and went with Helen's in the end - I think their website is www.swimschool.co.nz - and they are fabulous! Small classes, great teachers, and of course it helps that it is really close by (less than 5min for us). Can anyone recommend a good swim school on the North Shore for lessons for a preschooler? Have been looking at the Mairangi Bay swim school or the Millennium centre- has anyone been to either of these places?
