The baby started chemo on Saturday and seems to be coping well with it. They were originally told she would be spending two months straight in starship then depending on how things are going may be able to go home periodically. Now they may be allowed to spend some nights at Ronald Mcdonald house! Okay, the news isn't that good. The baby has acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Because of her age she has a 50/50 chance. Thank you for your kind prayers, thoughts and words.

Dad and grandparents are staying in the Ronald McDonald house with the well twin. The social worker in Tauranga set that all up before they left here.

One of my friend's 4 month old twin daughters was diagnosed with leukemia this morning. Mum had been concerned about baby for a few days, took her to the after hour gp who told her that she has reflux. Then ended up taking her to the hospital a&e at 3am. By mid morning they had diagnosed her.
