They've kept her for now, Kalimirella, and good on them. How on EARTH could you not notice a two-year-old's not there when you have tea / put the kids to bed / whatever, without being a complete dropkick?

There were eight kids in our family, and we did forget my five-year-old sister once. We all piled into the van, and everyone thought she was sitting by someone else... and we nearly got to town (maybe 20mins?) before we noticed she wasn't there! (She was fine... but we felt so bad!) How can you not miss your baby/toddler? 2 days is a long time to not miss a child.
