janola sounds good. it sucks how they get all gross inside, especially as little ones like to use the toys to drink from

I also soak mine in a janola solution. I let them soak over night. Then i rinse in warm water. I would also know how to clean bath toys effectively - my DD had these wee boats and they get all scummy...I clean them with an old toothbrush but it's not long before they get yucky again. We need to wash all the bath toys after a wee number 2 accident in the bath last night lol  

What's the best way to go about it? What should I use? I normally use more natural products but I don't want that kind of germ lingering given that the baby still sucks them etc...so should I use Janola or Canestan or something?

Also, we have one of those turtles that pops its head up and down in the bath adn it's gone mouldy inside ..how do I clean that? I tried soaking it in hot water and soap and that did nothing. Boooo.
