I love spring/summer...the kids & I have been out walking today. We went & had a picnic dinner at a park when DH got home & then went for a walk. We are going to the kids favourite playground tomorrow...just love this time of year

We have been to the beach 2 days running I love that little kids don't care how cold the water is or that they are wearing their undies

i love Spring/Summer too.... until those sh!ts of kids from across the road ride their skateboard up n down our driveway. Then come to the door asking to go under the house looking for a skateboard they left here when their friend lived here (last year). Then asking if they can go down the side of the house and 'visit' the grave of their dead dog (that died in 2001 and they cant be older than 11-12ish so i doubt they even remember what the dog looks like) and i know thats when the dog died because the date has been written on the wall of our pantry with the name.

Spring is definatlely here. its a nice warm sunny 13 degrees outside and all 7 children from on the street are out playing in the culdersac with their bikes and scooters having a good old time.

The parents are even so good to us by providing them with orange road cones and they put them in the street to let us know they are playing.
we slow down and the kids clear the street while we go past.
