She had sooo many problems selling it because of the bad rap those houses have - EVEN THOUGH she had a full builders/moisture report to say the house was absolutely fine.<br />She ended up selling it for much less than she wanted.]]>

I dont believe that all houses built with monolithic cladding will have problems and the homes where I live dont stay on the market for long, so cant be an issue here<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> ]]>

I'm sure I read somewhere that 80% of them have or will develop a moisture problem (will try and dig out the article link).<br /><br />It may depend where in the country you are though, I wouldn't buy one in Auckland but perhaps the stigma isn't as bad in other parts of the country?]]>

Because we love the house, we're going ahead with the reports but DH is freaking out and he's got this idea that all monolithic homes are leaky.<br /><br />What are your experiences of these houses? Surely not all are big leaky money traps?!]]>
