I find that same as others, if it is not every night or is short term I can survive on much less - anything less than 4 hours though and I am no good to anyone!<br /><br />I'm not a good day sleeper and have only had one afternoon nap since the very early days when DS arrived, so what I get the night before is it!]]>

Its been getting lighter in the mornings and I've been waking up around 6.30am which is 1/2 hour before my alarm is set for.<BR><BR>I've been experiencing wakefulness around 2-4am in the morning. I can see afternoon naps are going to be necessary once baby arrives. </P>]]>

Four in a row is my absolute minimum, anything less than that I get headaches, feel sick and feel like I can't move.  Funny how you can get used to a lack of sleep with a new baby in the house though, I still remember my first stretch of 5 hours sleep when Callum was about 4.5 months old <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley8.gif" border="0"><br /><br />I also find that regardless of how many hours I get, I feel a lot better if I get to bed before 10pm, rather than any later.  ]]>
