    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=18882">Chickoin</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 35695<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 September 2010 at 12:48pm<br /><br />Interesting question. my parents, sister and I live in Perth but are nz citizens.<br />When my parents or I go back and need health care it is at the normal nz price and subsidised prescriptions are too.<br />However when my sister went over a couple of years ago and saw a different dr she paid full price and also had to pay $200 for her drugs (30 days of anti depressants and a small tube of excema cream, she left the excema cream!). <br /><br />It is nice if we can still get funded health care, especially if we don't pay taxes.]]>

I thought it a bit rude to come back to specifically have a baby due to the health system where I was living not being adequate and not pay.  Does H have a nz passport?  Or just  a UK one.  It looks like it doesn't matter either way.  ]]>

No reason why you couldn't register for a PHO while you are here though...?]]>

Also hoping to be pregnant then too so would want a check up or two during that time and maybe a scan.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by kiwikid</span>]]>
