Wow we have like kids almost the same mine are 51/2, 4, 2 and 7month's.   Except I have 2 of each.
would love snother one but we have decided that is it for us. I had my 3 kiddies within 4 years (well, 4 years and 3 days to be exact ) and I did find my last pregnancy harder than the previous 2. In saying that it wasn't a 'bad' pregnancy or anything, just that I noticed more aches and pains than I had with the others.

In regards to the age gaps, it was hard getting used to trying to prioritise needs as they are all still pretty dependant on me, but as time goes by, it does get easier (most days at least!).

I wouldn't stress too much about having them close together or being an older parent.

Mum had my older bro at 35 and he was the first then another three 2years between each, so we would have all been about 15months when she got preg with the next. twice over she had 3 under 5 at an 'older' age. My 2younger bros were born Jan and Feb too so she had to deal with being preg, and having 2+kids in the middle of the summer
I don't fancy that at all

I think if you are mentally & physically up to have another baby close in age..then go for it.

It took 2+ yr to get pg after DS1 (no BC) that was in 03 which resulted in a m/c @ 13 weeks in Dec 03. March 04 (3mths later) I fell pg, not trying & DS2 was born in Dec 04 when he was 7mths old I found out I was pg again & was not trying. We have been trying for just over 4yrs to complete our family...

Thanks heaps Limochick and Chickielou, yeah I reckon the depo threw a real spanner in the works for us too..we had 2 emergency c-sections with the girls and I was so determined that any future babies would be natural so we had a HBA2C with our wee boy..but now I'm a wee bit nervous with this one being so close that something might go wrong...here's to positive thinking and prayers. Depo can really screw with plans huh.......Ive got 3 boys. One is 15yrs old, 6yrs and 9months. I would like to have a girl, and ive even avoided going back on depo cos it took us 15months with one MC after coming off depo for my last boy, and even though my hub doesnt want anymore, i dont want to go through that again by being on Depo and this time if theres any window of opportunity (even an accident) it wont happen if I am on the depo.

I hope youve got lots of support to have them close together. I find my big gaps quite good but if we have another the gap wont be as big

Im not sure how my body will cope with number 4 csection, especially since I had a small stroke while preg with my last

I just wanted to say that you are amazing. I'm pregnant for my 4th time. I have 2 older boys 9 & 6. Then I have a 7month old and this one will be born (c-section) a week before his bday. I am so scared and nervous about having them so close together. I've actually found this pregnancy easier than all of my others mostly cos I don't have the morning sickness. In my due thread there are older mums and I think they are awesome, there are advantages to being an older parent

I had a m/c in July 07, then fell pregnant September 07, had my son June 08, fell pregnant December 08 and had my daughter August 09 - Id love another one, but we are waiting as I think my body needs a break from pregnancy and breastfeeding etc
Our daughter just turned one, so we may try when she is about 18 months depending on how we feel.

I had a m/c at 12 weeks in Dec 08, then fell pregnant in March 09, had a normal birth on Xmas Day and fell pregnant again in March this year. My wee man is 8 months old and I am due the day after his birthday. If we have a boy we won't be having anymore children as we already have 2 girls but if we have a girl, I would like to try for another boy.
