Have you tried not using them? Jack just gave up on them one day. I was so scared to stop using them but it wasn't bad at all. My brat refused it from Day one...so I had to struggle with sore cracked nipple....so I am not must of a help. I haven't... but I suggest contacting La Leche League and talking to them about it. I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone has used nipple shields when feeding their baby. My baby, Emily, is 11 weeks only and has been using the shield since birth but has now decided to fight (crying and scream) when trying to latch on. Once she is on she is fine but to get her to feed is a mission.
