    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=19557">BeLoved</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 34373<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30 June 2010 at 8:31am<br /><br />I did the same thing as Freckle it was part of my nesting lol!<br /><br />I checked out the F&P website and others to see what they suggested and did a combination, filled the machine with hot water and vinegar and baking soda and let it sit for a few hours (was too impatient to wait overnight) then ran a rinse cycle, then I took the agitator out and scrubbed the rest away with a brush and the hose, letting it soak for awhile had softened all the soap scum so it was not too hard to get it off and I also wiped & scrubbed the inside of the machine (as best I could with a big belly!) and it came up like new.<br /><br />NB: most of the build up is caused by fabric softener or using phosphate free washing powder.]]>

Then continue the cycle in the morning. It's mainly inside the agitator thingy that there is a build up.  I recently put thru the washing soda that you get from the supermarket but that didn't make a difference.<br /><br />What else can I do to clean it out?  We are on bore water which I don't think helps.]]>
