Snappy theres a holiday park up past levin called Hydrabad at Waitarere. the cabins are self contained, very simple but have what you need and you can have a cabin that is right out the front of the playground. Its a very family friendly camp ground, my SIL lives in Wainui and has a permanent site there and takes her 3 kids (4yr old, 2yr old & 7month old). The kids are very safe there as the whole camp ground keeps an eye on them etc.

I think they cost about $50 a night. And has all the cooking facilities, pots pans, plates etc so you just need to take your clothes and blankets. the supply pillows.

We stayed up there when my baby was a couple of weeks old and it was a great place for me to chill after having my csection..... and my 5yr old could play with other kids instead of being stuck at home with the newborn and mummy having day naps etc

Otati beach, foxton beach, riversdale, castle point.
