Tinned fruit tends to be made of less ripe fruit and fruit that has been grown out of season. There's nothing wrong with this, except that it tends to be high in salicylates because of this. If your child is sensitive to salicylates I wouldn't use it, but if they're not, it's fine!]]>

But I don't think the cooking process would have made too much of a difference to the goodness of the fruit and as long as not the syrup fruit then there won't be any extra sugar or anything.<br /><br />Oh and cooked I mean only lightly cooked, can't remember the name...]]>
