Author: tiptoes
Subject: 32072
Posted: 04 March 2010 at 9:52pm

Is there a way to make a baby less fussy on one side? Cooper pops off and won't stay on properly on my left quite often and I think sometimes I assumed he just wasn't hungry when he did this, but I started offering formula top ups yesterday and he was doing that and then drank 80ml!! I squeezed and there was milk there, so it wasn't like it was all gone but it looked quite creamy so I might have already offered that side before (I'm a bit forgetful about which side I've last done) so not sure if that's the problem either.

I'm a bit worried that it's going to upset my milk supply if I start doing loads of top ups so if I can fix this it would be better and I'd rather not overfeed on the right and end up lopsided either

Strangely it was the right side that I initially had problems with mastisis and cracked nipples and avoided so it's kind of weird.

Edited by chelle
