I too think that you will end up paying the full price for the scan.
The Medical Centre I go to are usually pretty good at taking on new patients and I think if you explain to them that you need a refferal for a NT scan they should be able to fit you in.

Maddie,

I think as you are a tourist you will have to pay private fees no matter what. If you just need a referral you should be able to go to any after hours or regular GP clinic?

Alternatively maybe you could get your doctor in France to try and set up a referral directly with a radiology clinic here in NZ? Pacific Radiology is the main scanning place I know of http://www.pacificradiology.co.nz/

Hello,


I am french and with my husband we are coming to new zealand for our honeymoon for the all month of febuary.

We just found out that i am pregnant and that our baby is for the beginning of sptember..

I will have to do a scan around the 15 of feburary, it's to mesure the neck "Nuchal Translucency Ultrasound Scan"

So my question is to know if someone knows a good doctor in Wellington. We are taking the ferry on the 17th for Picton..
