I would say at least till 3 months for an average baby (my girl was small and fit it till about 5 months when we stopped using it as she could wiggle out of it). When they become too long for it you can use it without the leg part.

We then moved her into the miracle blanket. These are great, and much more wiggle proof.

I would say, if you can afford it get both. The miracle blanket may seem huge on a newborn. And the cocooi is nice and and warm and goes in the capsule/pushchair.

Have been looking at either the miracle blanket or dream swaddle and was wondering if anyone had used either (or both) of these and what were thoughts? DH though that maybe the velco on the dream swaddle might not be so comfy, but I did like how you could just unzip the bottom for the nappy change. Have also looked at the Cocooi, but don't really like how it only goes up to 5kg (Ella reached that weight by 6 weeks).

Cheers,
