Some pools you can't actually use a caliphont in, so I would double check. We have gas heating so it wasn't really a worry for us. Sorry, threadjack here. Those of you who have used birth pools at home with an electric hotwater cylinder, how did you get on with hot water? I second Aquabub, we hired a pool from them for our homebirth and the service was excellent - just a pity DD arrived so quickly and I didn't get a chance to use it LOL !!

My MW has one I can borrow at no charge.
