I have bought a Bugaboo Chameleon pram and also the Maxi Cosi car capsule (with adapators for the bugaboo)

I can connect the capsule on the pram with the adaptors no worries but when I disconnect from the pram the capsule comes away with adaptors still connected. Meaning I can't just click it into the capsule base in the car (without removing adaptors which I imagine would be a bit difficult with baby in the capsule)

Hope that makes some sort of sense and that I am just doing something basic wrong and someone can illuminate me ?
