If you get sick of waiting, its cheap to get a mechanic to do it for you! I asked DH and he said that each different brand varies slightly with the installation. My DP installed mine, and my Dad installed an anchor point in Mum's car too. We got one bolt with our carseat, and picked up a second from babycity. It's handy having a point in Nan-nan's car, it means we can take her car when she and I go out for coffee! Baby city usually have them, or pretty much anywhere that sells carseats.

Yep we did this is DH car as well. We bought the bolt from Target here in Aus but you can also get them from Kmart and most probably Farmers (Or any baby shop). We've just got a new carseat for DH's car but we need to install an anchor point for the tether strap. DH wants to do it himself (he has all the right tools etc) has anyone else done this? What type of bolt did you use and where did you get it from?
