He was having pea's and stuff when he only had his bottom teeth at Heidi's age, and they dont help with eating lol, as they use their back gums to chew "gum" the food.<br /><br />She will be all good, Caden crunches up biscuits with his gums! Like the others have said, their gums are really tough!]]>

He has learnt recently (after weeks of gagging, throwing up etc) to gum the food, then spit out the big bits he can't swallow. Pretty clever! Pretty messy too. Their gums are pretty tough, they just aren't sharp so they still figure it out]]>

Cooked veges, meat, sandwiches, toast...he's only started munching on things in the past week so he's still working on it but he seems to be doing ok with no teeth so far! I think because they have teeth under their gums their gums are better for chewing than an old person who's lost all their teeth, if that makes sense. That's my theory anyway lol. ]]>

I was thinking of giving her cooked peas and small bits of cooked carrots, is this ok?]]>
