I have a couple of Grobags from the Sleepstore and they are really great. I tried one of the cheaper brands from there as well when I was feeling broke, but in the end they weren't as good (Kayla felt cold inside the cheaper bag).. At the end of the day, having a good nights sleep is worth the money!!

We had Grobags for the gremlins, and I them, we bought the toddler size coz when they were smaller it didn't matter if it was a bit big. We have used gro bags since we moved Oli into his big cot at about 4mths old. We love them!!! We have bought a couple new and a couple of TM to have as back ups. I would recommend getting at least one with the travel slot (hole for harness), as we used ours a lot when he was smaller if we went out on an evening (we could put him in his Pjs and back and bring him home and put him straight down!).

ETA - they wash up really nicely, so even if you get from TM, they are generally still good! They can also be thrown in the drier, which makes them a lot easier to wash etc than the go-go bags.

We used a grobag on Daniel. We got a size bigger than what he needed so it could be used for longer and no risk of him growing out of it. I've used bith gogo bags and grobags and like both. However, the cost has been a big deterent and I've recently started purchasing them from a woman who advertises on TM. She makes them to order, if you can't find one you like. She charges between $55 - $85 depending on the thickness - they're merino and cotton so very good quality. here's her link:

I prefer grobags to gogo bags (have both) - grobags are more generous in sizing and the quality is lovely. The prices went up recently on them though. There are a few listed on Trade Me if you don't mind second hand? Otherwise I've found Slumbersacs a good budget alternative to Grobags (they are a direct copy and even come with the same type of temperature card) and haven't had an issue with the quality - Little Sygnets sell them (and I'd buy a size 3 for an 8 month old as unless she's really small she'll fit it soon):

We are wanting to purchase Hollie a sleeping bag to try and help her get through the night without kicking off her blankets. She is still wrapped, but at 8 months she has the strength to at least get her legs free.

Can anyone tell me if they have felt ripped off with their growbag? They are my favourite at the moment, but seem to be a lot of $$ for what they actually are? IF they are a decent quality and well worth it, then we are happy to pay as we will use it for #2 down the track.
