The extra strap holds the seatbelt down at the childs height rather than sitting up around their neck I think.  Hope this helps.]]>

We have one and I can't figure out what one to the straps is for and can't see anything in the manual about it. It is attached to one of the sholder straps under the padded part, it is a strap probably about 15cm long and has a clip/hook on the end. <br /><br />I wonder if it is used to somehow go across the body to attach to the other sholder strap so that Jack can't get his arms out of the straps - which he does when he wants to put the electric window down <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif" border="0">. But I can't quite work out how it goes. Does anyone know?]]>
