I love Gogo bags!

The only time I have noticed Lily's leg poking through is when shes crawling around on the floor just before she goes to bed - when we've put her in it.

We have a standard weight and cotton one. I use the standard one in bed with her duvet cover over top in winter - as well as an extra merino on under her growsuit pyjamas!

I'm using a friend's GoGo bag, and it's lovely. No foot through the slot yet. Only thing is the zip is around the bottom, so it goes on like a sweater. I find the bags I'd made (with long zips down the middle front) much easier to get baby in and out of... only thing is I wasn't savvy enough to put a seatbelt hole in those ones.

Another thing - you might find a summer weight bag fine for all seasons, as being in the sleeping bag can make it tricky for baby to kick their blankets off in the first place. Both my kids are kickers, but they kicked away in their sleeping bags and were still left with blankets over the the top. Did you get Chelsea Bee's NEW one which is like the NZ made version of the go go bag or an old style? The new one has the car seat slot and the long zip which goes around the bottom which I reckon is much better than their old style.

Love our gogo bags. We have 3 winter ones and a summer one and Tom loves to put his foot through the hole....good on him   He can now unzip them so tends to unzip just enough to get a foot out the bottom...only one foot mind you....strange lad!!!

I havent seen that a problem. I personally prefer the Chelsea Bee range of sleeping bags, they've also got the seatbelt slot and long zip which goes around the bottom of the bag. Plus on the sleep store website you get a free pair of merino pjs with every bag. Great value.

we have got one of the baby caterpillar ones- winter weight. I actually prefer it to the go-go as it is a lot thicker and feels warmer.  The only down side is that both of the sides are domed so several times Ella was able to get out of it, but jumping around in it and opening the domes. But you can always sew one side down inside or use a safety pin.

If I had to buy another winter weight bag, I would buy the baby caterpillar again.

I'm now an official expert on sleep sacks, having just co-ordinated a feature on sleep sacks in the mag, and whilst I can't give anything away, I agree that the Dimples one is lovely.

I also have to say that I love lil miss' Go Go bags but there are some other really cool ones out there too.

Gina used to do this but it hasn't really bothered me. They sleep in a heated room however so it's not a big deal.

This was a daily event in our house! Drove me crazy so I ended up sewing up the hole   We didn't really use it in the car anyway so it hasn't been a problem   Still love the Gogo bags though. DD who is now 16 months has on occasion woken up with a foot though the hole of her Gogo bag, but it doesn't happen all the time.

To be honest I prefer Grobags to Gogo bags, the 2.5 tog ones are really toasty and warmer than the standard gogo bags. I'm considering buying a gogo bag for Mika, but I was wondering about the holes they have in them for putting buckles through. Mika has a little sleep sack that I use in her carseat in this cold weather and she always manages to stick her feet in the hole (obviously this is before I buckle her in, as the hole is just big enough to fit the buckle through).

Just wondering if anyone had trouble with their baby sticking their foot through the hole in the gogo bag?

Also, for people who have a gogo bag, would you buy it again or would you buy a different sleeping bag?
