That was the deciding factor for us not getting one (everything else was good) as I bruised my foot trying to put it on and then take it off again - and I was wearing shoes.

But yeah, I think they've changed it now like LF said.

We had a strap in capsule and it wasn't too hard once you got the hang of it. Your absolute best option is to find a capsule that goes in a base but can also be strapped in. Then you can have it in your car and also take it in other people's cars too. There are some around but sorry I don't know the brands.

The Vibe brake is on the centre of the handlebar .. which needs only one hand, but my DH says its in a stupid place if you want to run as he likes to run pushing the pram with one hand (and the brake is where that one hand would naturally go)

Also when looking we brought a brand that can fit a toddler seat onto as well. Definately have a good go at collapsing the pram - 1st time out I just about threw the thing over the side of the carpark building as I couldn't get it down! Also try it in your boot as they can be quite bulky and hard to lift. I am just about to go back to the full size pram after using a Snap and Go - these I can't say enough about they are AWESOME (again no waking bubs) and so light and easy to get in and out of the car and I have hired mine from Baby on the Move for six months for a total of $60. I wish I had consulted with Baby on the Move for my capsule and pram instead of just going to Baby City and purchasing without knowing what I really needed - I'll definately be using to purchase my car seat! And the snap base in the car is so much easier and safer too.

Edited by hannibal

It means the base stays in the car and the capsule clicks in and out (so you dont have to strap it in each time), so you might want to consider that point too.

Lots of prams have attachments that you can put the capsule on the actual pram (Phil and Teds do for example) .. or you could just get some snap and go wheels .. which are far lighter than trying to cart a full sized pram around with you.

And finally .. (man I can rave on)

I would go down to the baby factory and check to see the pram fits in your boot! And that it can be collapsed easily.
