Thanks everyone I'm finding this really useful information as I was thinking I needed a special bath stand and it looks like I can manage well with just the bath. Anyone got any thoughts on / experience with 'Tummy Tubs' I've seen them advertised and think they look good but I'm a bit of a sucker for that sort of thing, my hubby reckons it's just an expensive bucket!

We had one, and only used it once! It was one of the ones with the drain pipe and on a change table with wheels

We found it much easier to put the baby bath in the bottom of the shower and fill it there, bath the baby there and then tip it out.

Each to their own though!

Ok bought one from Baby Factory with a drain pipe! It was awesome with my first born...I use the original bath up to 5 months with my first born...then I used a bigger bath from BF that fit in the space too so yah. I am using it again this time around and its great. The table is in our room ..I have a bucket and I go to our ensuit and filll the bath with two buckets.when I am finished I open the plug...fill the bucket again and get rid of the water....easy!

Hi we just brought the normal baby bath (about $14 at Farmers) and used it only a couple of times - we have found it much easier to get in the normal bath or shower with bubs! We've bought one and its on wheels so there wont be the problem of having to carry it around. It also has a plug thingy to drain the water.

I was told that these are a bit of a waste of time, for the reasons Flutterby gives. I never worried about getting one as it seemed like a lot of hard work carrying the water around the house, and you only use a baby bath for around 6months max. Hi I am looking at buying one of these change tables that has the bath built in, does anyone have any recomendations or feedback about them just unsure weither there worth it. If you do have one how long did you use it for?
